|Traditional Copper Post Lanterns
In order to properly illuminate
sidewalks and driveways, our
reproduction lighting should
be no closer than three feet
to the area being lit. A "dark
spot" is created by Post
Lanterns directly under and
around the post. The spot
can be approximately three
feet in diameter. Placing a
reproduction post light too
close to a given area will not
assure proper illumination.
|Traditional Post Lanterns
Shown here is a traditional style lighting fixture (model # P101) handmade by our
skilled craftsman. This New England copper post lantern (P101) is rather large in
size (measuring a little over 3 feet tall). The black powder coated iron cradle helps
supports the lantern while enhancing its' overall look. As you can see it blends well
into the overall landscape design, showing that it is important not to shy away from
size when evaluating your post lantern choices.
"Lighting and Light Fixtures" traditional colonial style post lanterns are among the
best handmade lighting fixtures found in America today- we guarantee it:. Post
lanterns are a very important decorative addition to your landscape lighting scheme
while also providing the practical application of lighting your driveway or walkway.
